At the crossroads, in the centre of the village, you will find The Lowick Village Store and Post Office, which offers a wide range of goods and services from high quality, sensibly priced groceries to Automated Free Banking and Cash Link. The recently created Lowicknet Photo Gallery website provides comprehensive views of Lowick Village, present and past, together with images of surrounding area. Bell's Mini-Bus Service is a reliable, family run business that is conveniently based in Lowick Village. There are two Inns within the village itself. The White Swan Inn is in the centre of the village and has a Bar, Dining Room and Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The Black Bull Inn, is at the west end of the village and has a Bar, Restaurant, Lounge and Pool Room, together with Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The Lindisfarne Inn is in the neighboring village of Beal on the A1 road, at the junction leading to Holy Island. It has been recently renovated and has a Bar, Lounge and Restaurant, serving excellent, well priced meals, with an adjoining Lodge consisting of 21 bedrooms. Bookless Motors, a vehicle workshop and an exceptionally well stocked vehicle and hardware store is a short distance along the Main Street to the West of the crossroads. St. John the Baptist Church is located at the West end of the village and the times of the Church of England and Roman Catholic services are shown on the 'News & Local Events' page, along with the times for the Church of Scotland services, which are held in the Lowick Village Hall. Coarse Fishing is available in a private, well stocked mini-lake in the grounds of Northfield Old Cottage on the outskirts of the village.
